Legal & Compliance
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of margorubber.in and the quotation, sampling and ordering processes you can start from it. Please read them before submitting an enquiry. Where we accept an order, these terms apply unless we have signed a separate supply agreement with you, in which case that agreement governs.

1.Acceptance of Terms
This website is operated by Margo Rubber Products (“Margo”, “we”, “us”), a firm registered in India with GSTIN 27AAKFM8595Q1Z1 and its registered office at SRNO. 4494/10, behind Furniture Stop, opposite Samarth Dies, Vilholi, Nashik, Maharashtra 422010.
By browsing this website you accept sections 2, 3 and 11 of these terms. By submitting an enquiry, quotation request or documentation request, you additionally accept sections 4 and 5. By placing an order that we accept, you accept these terms in full.
If you do not accept these terms, do not use the website or submit an enquiry.
Where you act for a company or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” means that organisation.
2.Use of This Website
You may use this website to learn about our products and capabilities, to request a quotation or documentation, and to download material we publish for that purpose.
You may not use it to introduce malicious code, to attempt unauthorised access to any part of it or the systems behind it, to interfere with its operation, or in any way that breaches applicable law.
Automated access. We permit search engine crawlers and AI assistants to access, index and cite the technical content on this website. We ask that automated access is at a reasonable rate and that our content is attributed to Margo Rubber Products where reproduced. We reserve the right to block automated access that degrades the site for other users.
We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of this website without notice. We will not be liable if it is unavailable at any time or for any period.
3.Intellectual Property
Our material
All content on this website — text, technical data, compound information, images, layout and design — belongs to Margo or is used with permission. You may view it, print it and share it internally for the purpose of evaluating or specifying our products. You may not republish it commercially or present it as your own.
Standards referenced on this site — ASTM, ISO, DIN, JIS, IS, AS568 and others — belong to their issuing bodies and are named for identification only. We do not reproduce their text.
Trade marks of our customers, where shown, belong to their respective owners and appear solely to identify commercial supply relationships.
Your material
Drawings, specifications, samples and CAD files you send us remain yours. We use them only to quote for and manufacture the part you have asked us to make. We treat them as confidential and do not disclose them outside Margo, except to a sub-supplier engaged on your order where necessary to fulfil it.
You confirm that you are entitled to send us any drawing or sample you provide, and that manufacturing to it will not infringe a third party’s rights. You will indemnify us against any claim that it does.
Tooling
Where you pay a tooling charge, the physical mould or die remains Margo’s property and is held at our plant for your exclusive use for as long as the supply relationship continues. The design embodied in the tool, where it derives from your drawing, remains yours. Where a tooling charge has been amortised into piece price or credited against committed volume, ownership is unchanged unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
We will hold a tool for 36 months from the date of the last order against it, after which we may dispose of it.
4.Product Information & Specifications
Technical information published on this website — compound temperature ranges, hardness bands, dimensional tolerance classes, test standards and application guidance — is indicative and is provided to help engineers specify components. It is not a specification for any particular part.
The governing specification for any order is the approved drawing and compound designation recorded on the quotation and order acknowledgement. Where published information conflicts with those documents, the order documents govern.
Our full technical disclaimer applies to all such information and forms part of these terms.
We may change published specifications, product ranges and compound availability without notice. Changes do not affect an order we have already accepted.
5.Quotations & Orders
A quotation is an invitation to treat, not an offer capable of acceptance. No contract is formed until we issue an order acknowledgement.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue unless the quotation states otherwise. After that, prices are subject to re-quotation, principally because compound raw material prices move.
Our quoted process is: quotation and feasibility report within 48 hours of receiving a drawing, specification or sample; prototype within 48 to 72 hours of an approved drawing; fitment samples within two weeks; production in three to four weeks as standard, or two weeks on an express basis where we have confirmed capacity.
Lead times are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees, and run from the later of order acceptance, receipt of the approved drawing, and receipt of any advance payment due.
For a new part, series production does not begin until you have approved the first-off sample dimensionally. Orders are placed against our published minimum run, or against the quantity quoted for your part where size or complexity sets the economics.
You may not cancel or reduce an accepted order once tooling has been cut or material has been mixed for it, except with our written agreement and on terms covering costs already incurred.
6.Pricing & Payment
Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation and are exclusive of taxes, duties and freight unless the quoted Incoterm includes them.
Indian GST is charged where applicable. For export orders, import duties, taxes and clearance charges in the destination country are yours, whatever the Incoterm, unless the quotation says otherwise.
Tooling is charged at approximately 50% in advance with the balance due on sample approval. Where agreed, a tooling charge may be amortised into piece price or credited against committed volume.
Payment terms are 45 days from invoice, or as stated on the invoice. For export orders, terms are T/T in advance for new accounts, and L/C or open terms for established buyers, as recorded on the order acknowledgement.
We may charge interest on overdue amounts at 1.5% per month and may suspend deliveries while an account is overdue.
7.Delivery & Risk of Loss
Delivery and risk pass according to the Incoterm agreed on the order acknowledgement. We trade on FOB Nhava Sheva as standard, and offer CIF, EXW Nashik and DAP by agreement. Incoterms carry the meaning given in Incoterms® 2020.
Under FOB, risk passes when the goods are loaded at Nhava Sheva; you arrange onward freight and insurance. Under EXW, risk passes on collection from our Nashik plant. Under CIF we cover freight and marine insurance to your named port. Under DAP we deliver to your named place, with import duties and unloading remaining yours.
Export consignments are packed in poly bags and labelled cartons on heat-treated, ISPM-15 marked pallets. Where a market requires pre-shipment inspection — including PVoC for Kenya and Tanzania — we arrange it at quotation stage.
You must inspect goods on arrival and notify us of shortage, damage in transit or visible non-conformity within 14 days of delivery, and of latent non-conformity within the warranty period in section 8.
We are not liable for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including shipping-line delay, port congestion, customs action, natural events, or failure of a raw material supplier where an equivalent compound is not available.
8.Warranties & Disclaimers
We warrant that goods will conform to the approved drawing and the compound designation recorded on the order acknowledgement, and will be free from defects in material and workmanship, for 12 months from the date of despatch.
Where goods do not conform, we will at our option replace or re-manufacture them. Replacement or re-manufacture is your sole remedy for non-conformity. We do not issue refunds or credit notes for non-conforming goods.
The warranty does not cover: normal wear; damage from incorrect installation, storage or handling; use outside the operating conditions recorded on the order; exposure to a fluid, temperature or pressure not stated at quotation stage; or parts modified after despatch.
Rubber is a service-life-limited material. Its performance depends on formulation, geometry, cure, installed compression, service medium, temperature and duty cycle. Selecting a compound and geometry for a given application remains the responsibility of the specifying engineer. We will recommend against the operating conditions you give us, but we cannot assess conditions we have not been told about.
Except as stated in this section, and to the extent permitted by law, all other warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute or common law are excluded.
9.Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, production, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, however arising.
- Our total liability arising from or in connection with an order, whether in contract, tort including negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the invoice value of the goods giving rise to the claim.
These limits are reflected in our prices. Where you need broader cover for a safety-critical application, tell us at quotation stage and we will discuss it separately.
10.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India.
The courts at Nashik, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings to recover sums due in any court of competent jurisdiction.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
11.Changes to These Terms
We may amend these terms. The Last updated date at the top of this page is authoritative, and superseded versions remain available on request.
Orders are governed by the terms in force at the date we accept them. A change to these terms does not affect an order already accepted.
