Rubber That Seals a Building Against Water, Wind and Movement.
Extruded EPDM glazing and weatherseal profiles, cellular expansion joint seals, building-services gaskets and vibration mounts for plant — extruded and moulded to your drawing at our ISO 9001:2015 plant in Nashik. Compounded in-house, so the ozone and UV resistance a facade needs for twenty years is formulated rather than bought in.

02 · PRODUCTS
Seven Product Lines on One Project
Extrusion Profiles
Glazing gaskets, wedge and H-sections, door and window weatherseals, cabinet and shutter seals. Die cut in-house, so a non-standard section is a drawing rather than a compromise.
Sponge & Foam Rubber
Facade and curtain-wall expansion joints, closed-cell backing, self-adhesive foam tape, acoustic isolation pads.
Gaskets
Flange and body gaskets for building-services pipework, pumps, tanks and plant.
Anti-Vibration Mounts
Isolation for chillers, air-handling units, generator sets and pumps — the plant that transmits structure-borne noise into a building.
O-Rings
Building-services pipework, valves, pumps and fire-main couplings.
Rubber Lining & Skirting
Tank, sump and pipework lining for water and effluent plant on infrastructure projects.
Bonded Components
Bonded acoustic and vibration pads where the rubber is vulcanised to a steel plate rather than glued to it.
03 · APPLICATIONS
Six Places a Building Needs Rubber
Facade and curtain wall
Structural glazing gaskets, wedge and setting-block sections, weather seals and cellular expansion joint fillers. Corner mouldings vulcanised to the profile so the joint is not a butt splice on site.
CompoundEPDM
Windows, doors and shutters
Extruded weatherseal profiles, bubble and fin sections, glazing beads and cabinet seals.
CompoundEPDM · CR
Roof and waterproofing
Self-adhesive closed-cell tape, upstand and penetration seals, membrane termination tape.
CompoundEPDM · CR
Plant rooms and services
Anti-vibration mounts and acoustic pads under chillers, AHUs and gensets; flange gaskets and O-rings on services pipework.
CompoundNR · Neoprene · NBR
Below ground and wet areas
Pipe penetration seals, sump and tank lining, coupling and manhole gaskets.
CompoundEPDM · NR
Structural movement
Expansion and movement joint seals in dense and cellular section, sized to the joint’s designed range rather than its installed gap.

On a Facade, Ozone Decides Before Temperature Does
External seals fail by ozone cracking and UV embrittlement, not by reaching a temperature limit. A twenty-year facade seal spends its life between −5 and +65 °C and still perishes, because sunlight and atmospheric ozone attack the polymer backbone. Every compound we mix is available; these are ranked for building duty.
| If the duty is | Compound | Service temperature | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| External — facade, glazing, roof, weatherseal | EPDM | −40 to +140 °C | The default for anything exposed. Outstanding ozone, UV and water resistance; tested to ISO 1431-1. Never where oil or fuel is present |
| Structural movement, acoustic and vibration pads | Natural rubber | −20 to +90 °C | Best damping and flex-fatigue of the eight, which is what a load-bearing pad needs. Protected positions only — poor ozone resistance |
| Marine and coastal exposure, moderate oil, flame-retardant grades | Neoprene | −40 to +120 °C | The compromise where salt air, some oil and a flame-retardant grade are all wanted at once |
| Plant-room pipework carrying oil, fuel or hydraulic fluid | NBR | −30 to +120 °C | Generator fuel lines and hydraulic plant. Never on a facade — nitrile has poor ozone resistance and will craze in sunlight |
| High-temperature services, flue and boiler-room gasketing | Silicone | −60 to +220 °C | Where temperature genuinely governs. Low tear strength, so not for a section that is stretched over a frame |
| Abrasive water, low-cost protected duty | SBR | −30 to +100 °C | Internal and protected positions only. No exposure, no oil |
| Aggressive chemistry in effluent or process plant | FKM | −20 to +250 °C continuous to +200 °C | Rarely justified on a building. Specify on the medium, not the temperature |
| Hot oil and oil mist | AEM | −40 to +175 °C continuous to +160 °C | Rarely a construction duty. Listed because every compound is available |
Dimensional Standards, Not Approvals
| Standard | Covers | Our position |
|---|---|---|
| ASTM C864 | Dense elastomeric compression seal gaskets, setting blocks and spacers — the solid glazing sections | We mould and extrude to it |
| ASTM C509 | Elastomeric cellular preformed gasket and sealing material — the sponge glazing sections | We extrude to it |
| ASTM C1115 | Dense elastomeric silicone rubber gaskets and accessories | Where silicone is specified |
| IS 5382 | Rubber sealing rings for gas mains, water mains and sewers | Supplied — see /industries/water-fluid-management |
| EN 681-1 | Elastomeric seals for water supply and drainage pipe joints | Supplied |
| ASTM D2000 | Line-callout classification for the compound itself | We quote against a callout if you have one |
| ISO 3302-1 | Dimensional tolerances — class E1–E3 extruded, M1–M4 moulded | Tolerance follows the section |
| ISO 1431-1 | Ozone resistance test method | Tested at our NABL partner laboratory |
| IRC:83 · IS 15462 · EN 1337-3 | Structural elastomeric bearings | Not held. See section 06 |
| IS 3809 · BS 476 · EN 1366 | Fire resistance of building elements | Not held. See section 06 |
Four Things We Will Not Quote
Rubber appears in parts of a building where the product is not really rubber, it is a certified assembly. We would rather tell you now than at qualification.
| Not supplied | Why | What we can do |
|---|---|---|
| Laminated elastomeric bridge bearings | A structural product type-tested and load-certified to IRC:83 Section IX, IS 15462 or EN 1337-3. We hold no structural product approval and a bearing sits under a deck. | Plain rubber bearing pads and acoustic isolation pads for non-structural duty, quoted against your load and area |
| Fire-rated and intumescent seals | A fire rating is certified against a specific tested assembly by a third-party laboratory to IS 3809, BS 476 or EN 1366. A flame-retardant compound is not a fire rating and we will not let the two be confused. | Flame-retardant neoprene grades where the specification asks for a compound property rather than a tested assembly. Third-party testing arranged on request |
| EPDM roofing membrane systems | Single-ply roofing is a warranted system with installer certification behind it. The warranty is the product. | Closed-cell EPDM tape, upstand and penetration seals, and termination detailing that goes with someone else’s membrane |
| PVC waterstops | PVC is not a vulcanised rubber and we do not extrude it — the same reason we decline polyurethane liners and polyurethane hydraulic seals. | Rubber waterstops and construction-joint seals in EPDM or natural rubber, where the specification permits them |
